Hey Your_average_minecrafter, the points system is added by the FoF Gamification extension. You get one point every time one of your posts is upvoted and lose one point every time one of your posts is downvoted. And because this forum is configured so that you automatically upvote your own posts, you effectively also get one point every time you post. Hope this helps!
