How to modify Scaffold walk

i saw someone use a hack when he jump he automaticly place blocks he can reach below him (just like scaffold) but everywhere (on OneBlock for getting island values)
is it possible to modify scaffoldwalk so it places more blocks
or can you tell me what hack that player may be using
