i had every thing set up, i have the api thing, i can enable it, but it does literally NOTHING. how am i supposed to fix it? is it a bug or im using it wrong? confused🤔

LashedLime Usually, AutoComplete appearing to do nothing means that there is something wrong with your API key. Check your latest.log file, there should be a detailed error message there. It just doesn't output the error in chat unfortunately.

LashedLime If you are trying to use AutoComplete with OpenAI's API, make sure that you have some credits. As far as I know, OpenAI does not offer free access to any of their models via the API, so you will need credits to use them.

Obviously, there could also be an issue with your network, etc., but we won't know without looking at the logs.

LashedLime You can find the latest.log file in your .minecraft/logs folder. On Windows, that's:

There are free APIs you can use tho, for example: https://github.com/marketplace?type=models
You can also self-host an AI model.

You will need to adjust endpoints in AutoComplete's settings to whatever you want to use.
