Hey Cyclopropinon,
Wurst actually does detect if ModMenu is installed and adjusts its button placement accordingly, but the logic on ModMenu's side is a bit problematic.
They have three different modes for how that button is added to the pause menu, two of which are great and work perfectly fine with Wurst, but the one mode that causes these compatibility issues is what they chose as the default.
So basically you just need to change one ModMenu setting and this problem goes away. Here is how to do it:
- Open the ModMenu Options from the title screen.
- Look for the "Game Menu" setting.
- Switch it from "Replace" to either "Insert" or "Icon".
