When I deactivate fly mode i just die even if im really close to the ground

Wurst version:7.46.1
Minecraft version:1.20.1

Steps to reproduce:
1.activate fly mode then try to go to the ground and you'll just die

plz help me 😢

Edit: You can actually just enable nofall and it will work fine
