I assume you're talking about the same Banned Server Bypass that you mentioned in this thread. I can assure you that this feature works fine and does exactly what it says on the tin. It bypasses banned servers, not banned players.
For example, the Grand Theft Minecart server was banned by Mojang for adding guns to the game. You can still join it with Wurst.
