Hey Probable,
Yes, you should update to Sodium 0.6 Beta and update your other mods as well, assuming they have a Sodium 0.6-compatible version available.
Sodium 0.6 makes a lot of breaking changes, which makes it difficult for Wurst to support 0.6 without also removing support for 0.5. I don't know how to explain this without making a super long and confusing sentence, so here's a table instead:
Minecraft version | Sodium version | Wurst version | Compatible? |
≥1.21 | ≥0.6.0-beta.1 | ≥7.45.1 | ✅ yes |
≥1.21 | ≥0.6.0-beta.1 | ≤7.45 | ❌ no |
≥1.21 | ≤0.5.11 | ≥7.45.1 | ❌ no |
≥1.21 | ≤0.5.11 | ≤7.45 | ✅ yes |
≤1.20.6 | ≥0.6.0-beta.1 (doesn't currently exist) | ≥7.45.1 | ❌ no |
≤1.20.6 | ≥0.6.0-beta.1 (doesn't currently exist) | ≤7.45 | ❌ no |
≤1.20.6 | ≤0.5.11 | ≥7.45.1 | ✅ yes |
≤1.20.6 | ≤0.5.11 | ≤7.45 | ✅ yes |
Hope that explains it!
