My sugesstion is that AutoBuild gives you the option to, when pasting from a template you scanned, place only the blocks what are the same as the original build. For example, when I scan a template and upload it into AutoBuild, it will only place down the blocks of the original build that are wood planks if that's what's in my hand, as opposed to making the whole build out of planks with no regard to what the block was originally.
