Minecraft 1.21.2 Snapshots

Mojang has released Minecraft 24w33a today, which is the first snapshot for 1.21.2.

The first snapshot of an update cycle usually contains a lot more changes and thus takes much longer for both Fabric and Wurst to support. I will post here once the update is ready.

Edit: Apparently it's for 1.21.2 now.

Update: Now that a Fabric API exists for 24w33a, I have started updating Wurst and pushed my initial port to GitHub: Wurst-Imperium/Wurst72e16162

I'll continue tomorrow and see if I can get a release out, don't expect it to be stable though.

This snapshot also breaks both Mo Glass and WI Zoom, which is rare. I haven't started updating them yet.

I have updated Wurst, WI Zoom and Mo Glass to support Minecraft 24w33a.

Mo Glass and WI Zoom are fully working, however Wurst still has some notable issues due to the large amount of breaking changes in Minecraft 24w33a:

X-Ray doesn't work.
HealthTags doesn't work.
Kaboom doesn't render the explosion particles anymore.

If you find any other issues in this snapshot, please let them be known so we can work towards a stable and feature-complete version over the coming weeks and months.

This snapshot is a bit more stable than 33a:

LSD is fixed.
X-Ray is mostly fixed.

But there are still a few issues:

X-Ray's "Only show exposed" setting does nothing.
HealthTags still doesn't work.
Kaboom's explosion particles still don't work.

If you find any other issues, please let them be known.

Hey MorecheatsPLZ, are you referring to this thread? That would be a 1.21.1 issue not directly caused by Wurst. I've replied to you there with more details.

I have updated Wurst, WI Zoom and Mo Glass to support Minecraft 24w36a.

There is a slight change to AutoArmor with this snapshot, since any item can now act as armor. When two armor pieces have identical stats (e.g. iron helmet vs. chain helmet), AutoArmor will no longer prefer the higher armor tier (e.g. iron > chain) and instead treat both items equally. This makes it easier to compare non-standard armor items that don't really have a tier (e.g. egg vs. light blue banner) - AutoArmor will just know what to do in each case.

I've also added the creaking heart to X-Ray's default list of ores. (see screenshot)
