How do I update Wurstclient

Hello,

sorry for this silly question but when I start the game Wurst informs me that there's an update available and asks me to "click here" to download the update. I don't have a mouse cursor though so I can't click on the link..? Is there any other way to start the update?

Or do I have to manually download and re-install the .jar from the website whenever an update is available? If that is the case, is there any way to disable the overlay in the upper-left corner of the game that pops up when you are not on the latest version?

Hey swamp192,

No worries at all! It's a good question. If you can't see the mouse cursor to click on the update link, try pressing T to open the chat. Once the chat is open, you should be able to see your cursor and click on the link.

However, the link won't automatically install the update, It'll just take you to the official website where you can download the new .jar file. One you have that file, place it in your mods folder and remove the old one.

Regarding the update notification, there isn't a built-in method to disable it. I understand it can be a bit intrusive, but it serves as an important reminder when there's a newer version available with improvements or security updates.

ah alright, thanks for clearing that up then! Oh and by the way Wurstclient is absolutely great, it makes the game so much more enjoyable, thanks alot for making it.
