Make it so using .clear doesn't delete the history of the messages you had sent

So, when you use .clear, it not just clears the chat, but it also deletes the history of all the messages and commands that I had sent, so in chat when I press up arrow it doesn't bring back the things that I had typed previously. So please make it so it doesn't delete them.

Using F3 + D will do just that. It clears up the chat but doesn't delete the history of previously sent messages.
