I've released an updated version of the GhostWurst prototype with the latest changes from normal Wurst and support for a lot more Minecraft versions.

TejasLamba2006 GhostWurst is open source. Members can download both the compiled version and the source code. (It's free as in freedom, but not free as in price.)

That’s actually not “open source” by the standard definition

open source means anyone can access the source code for free and use/modify it under an OSI-approved license. What you have sounds more like “source-available for paying members,” which is different.

True, GPL-3.0 allows charging for access (section 4 and 6), but it also guarantees that anyone who gets a copy can redistribute it without restrictions. If members aren’t allowed (or are discouraged) from sharing the source publicly, then it’s not really functioning as open source in practice, it’s just paywalled source code. The “open” part of open source is about freedom and availability, not just licensing.
